provider whose main purpose is to provide management development and

and Pacific countries.
MISSION
The mission
of ACP Institute for Management is to develop and provide training,
consultancy and management development services aimed at improving
the performance of people in private, civic and public sector in ACP
countries.
CAPABILITY
AND THRUST
ACP
Institute for Management is one of the fastest growing management
development center in ACP countries. The capability of ACP Institute
for Management rests on their highly qualified and experienced
professional staffs that are supplemented by a network of associate
consultants within Swaziland
and other countries. Its programmes are based on emerging needs of
the clients throughout the region. The institute has continued to
make sure that programmes benefit from research carried out in the
form of needs assessment and participant’s feedback. Programme
appraisal, tracer studies and impact assessment form important part
of the institute’s training and capacity building process.
TUITION/FEES
Tuition
fees cover contact lectures, course materials, excursions, a take
home computer package with application software, a printer and
international study tour. Payment is made in United States dollars
(US$), or the equivalent in South African Rands, Euros, and CFA
Francs.
Some course
fees may be subjected to changes, or be higher because they involve
external consultants/facilitators who are specialized in specific
disciplines and whose fees are particularly high. Please note that
the fees indicated below are only a guideline; therefore contact the
institution for quotes on specific courses. However, in general
the following guidelines are an indication of basic costs.

TRAINING
APPROACH
ACP
Institute for Management conducts business throughout Anglophone,
Francophone and Lusophone countries. This means that the course
programmes are conducted in English, French and Portuguese. The
center is fully subscribed to the principles of adult learning. The
course programmes are conducted by highly qualified and experience
consultants from the center as well as individual consultants from
the highest institutions of learning, research centers and private
sector in Swaziland as well as associate consultants from other
countries. In Swaziland,
the institute utilizes the services of consultants from University of Swaziland, Institute of
Development Management (IDM), Swaziland Institute of Management and
Public Administration (SIMPA) and Public Policy Coordinating Unit
(PPCU) of the Government of Swaziland.

institute also conducts training in clients own countries upon

DISTANCE
AND SUPPORTED LEARNING PROGRAMMES
The centre
conducts flexible distance and supported learning programmes ranging
from Certificate to Masters Degree such as Diploma in Human Resource
Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and
Administration, Executive MBA Degree etc. Some of the Faculties

ACCREDITATION
All courses
are accredited by leading internationally recognized academic
institutions.
CONSULTANCY
AND ADVISORY SERVICES
The AGRIVET
consulting division of ACP Institute for Management provides technical
assistance and undertakes consultancies in management and development
processes, drawing upon a rich roster of experienced regional and
international specialists. Consulting includes short-term (not
exceeding 3 months) in areas such project planning, project
management, project monitoring and evaluation etc.
TRAVEL AND
VISAS.
Participants
are responsible for visa application, transport and personal
insurance while in Swaziland
or in country where the course is being conducted.
Participants
must ensure that they have valid passports and visas.
Participants
are responsible for the cost of visas, airport taxes, and excess
luggage, private travels, medical expenses and private telephone
calls while in the country.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation
(Boarding and Lodging) is available at AGRIVET Apartments of
ACP Institute for Management at affordable rates. For four (4)
week course, the cost in the Apartments is US$1000 (Full Board and
Lodging). Self-catering facilities are also available AGRIVET Apartments.
Should one need an alternative accommodation, ACP Institute for
Management has negotiated a range of hotel facilities close to the
center. These cost between US$ 60 and US$100 daily.
